Lychee Collection

Designer Neeta Singh fondly remembers life as a little girl, growing up surrounded by endless stretches of lychee orchards. Each year, as the summer sun ripened the air, the orchards would come alive with clusters of ruby-red lychees, glowing like jewels against the lush greenery.

For Neeta, the lychee has always been a symbol of growth. A marvel of nature that endures scorching summer heat and relentless monsoons, yet burst into life with beautiful abundance. The lychee was ever present in Neeta’s life which took her on many paths all the way up to pouring her creative spirit into the birth of SAHAS.

Usna, a quiet, shy girl whose eyes sparkled with adventure, was always seen wearing a simple pendant. Years ago, she found this tarnished five-petal flower in a seashell. According to legend, this golden flower granted a single wish to its finder, capable of changing their destiny.

As she grew older, Usna cherished the pendant but never dared to make a wish, fearing it would diminish its magic. One day she visited a goldsmith’s shop, “Please restore its beauty,” she asked him. “Not just for me, but for the hope it represents.” He polished each petal with care and when he finished, the flower revealed a hidden verse:

"In each petal, a part of a dream,Together they form a wish supreme.Wear it close, and keep it near,To find your truth, to dim your fear."

As Usna read the verse, she discovered that the true magic of her pendant lay in the courage and strength she already possessed. She realized that the greatest wish she could ever make was to believe in herself.
